A New Democrat's Opinion: 3 reasons Sanders's rival should bow out of 2016 U.S. Presidential race.

I may not be the first person to think, talk, or write of these ideas.
However, as someone relatively new to the Democratic voting bloc, I believe, that for many reasons, Bernie Sanders's main rival should simply bow out of the U.S. Presidential race. She should step aside for the sake of the party, the election, and out of consideration for American citizens.

At a glance, Sen. Sanders’s main rival for the Democratic nomination (note: I’m refraining from using her name online) and her friends, are visibly toying with the Democratic process, endangering party integrity, an risking overall voter turnout. She’s now a liability. Whereas, Sanders shows extremely high rate of trustworthiness and is scandal-free. Recent numbers also show that Bernie Sanders has record-setting fundraising capabilities, and that he’s drawing new people into the political process.

#1. Electability. Electability. Electability.

All reasons point to this primary reason. Some want to call Bernie too radical. Yet, he gets props from Republican congressional colleagues, with whom he famously forms coalitions with to get important legislation through gridlock. (His rival is not well-respected across the aisle). Senator Sanders outshines his Democratic adversary in general election electability in almost every poll against GOP candidates. However, even in the most recent Monmouth poll (spun as ‘favorable’ for Sanders’s rival), Politico gets verbose, as if deftly trying to scuttle some telling new numbers: a whopping 20-POINT shiftamong ‘liberals’ in about 30 days, all flooding towards Bernie Sanders.

“...took her biggest hit among those describing themselves as liberal. In December, 57 percent in that group backed her, compared to 31 percent for Sanders. This time, the self-described democratic socialist leads by 9 points—51 percent to 42 percent.

There are many more reasons I believe Sanders popularity is accelerating so quickly. Here’s just a handful more...

Sanders has a 93% trustworthy rating among Iowa voters.
Sanders has a LONG record with human rights organizations.
Sanders has an ‘insurmountable’ 27-point lead in New Hampshire.
Sanders has 32 years experience in elected office; his main rival has 8.
Sanders has broken all fundraising records and doing better than Obama in 2008.
Sanders has now overcome, in spectacular fashion, a relative blackout by major media.
Sanders has humility; he’s a minimalist, still chopping his own firewood at home in Vermont.

Frankly, I no longer see Sanders in terms of “electability,” but in terms of “inevitability.” The tide is rising. We all feel it. Iowa and New Hampshire will be telling, but just watch Super Tuesday

#2. Their appears audacious DNC bias for a party liability, who may gravely endanger the election.

To preface this part, let me assume that most people have no idea there are (much less WHY there are) easily over 100,000 people collectivelysigning their names, calling for the resignation of the chairperson of the Democratic National Committee. It's because the fishy actions of Debbie Wasserman Schultz are flagrant, and numerous. So now, beyond that, Sander’s rival herself is embroiled in perilous situations. Should she win the nomination, it may be before her worst public relations calamities occur. Not only is she now exposed for risking “above Top Secret” information from the State Department, but the strange activities of her family's foundation may prove to be the Titanic-level disaster that kills the whole election for the Democrats. Lastly, a remote but real possibility of party disunity looms, come election time (even if she could get there scandal-free).

#3. Sen. Sanders will drastically expand the Democratic Party base and bring lasting political change.

Just imagine Senator Sanders doubling the number of card-carrying Democrats -- and not gradually either — this could happen virtually OVERNIGHT. Imagine a rush of young people, independents, liberal Catholics and Christians, and turncoat ex-Republicans (just like me) that might join the party. Imagine Sanders’s fundraising skills amplified, and efficiency of operations streamlined, both by the network and reach of the Democratic party’s deep roots. Imagine the extra-diverse representation of voters voting in the 2016 election, and being the party welcoming millions into open arms by recognizing who they really like. Imagine sweeping this election, and the next, by adding to the momentum Bernie Sanders has been building up for many years. Imagine the same fervor for #FeelTheBern inspiring a whole new generation of wonderful civil servants. Bernie Sanders should be supported for his messages of cooperation; of lifting each other up and empowering each other. People should know now that we can never underestimate the power of such contagious messages.

We are not fooled by the idea that it is This Candidate’s“TIME,” or That Candidates“MOMENT!”
It’s the American People’s “moment.” It’s ours to seize. Right now.
The only candidate for president who realizes this truth is Bernie Sanders.
